Stayed here numerous times over the last several years and I will personally vouch for the fact that what some of the negative reviews say are OBVIOUS and flat out LIES! Always very clean, friendly service, always a pleasant stay for a fantastic price. But if you want to pay MUCH more for a lesser room, go right ahead. I'll keep staying here. I was here immediately before the renovation and even then it was still a nice place. The ONLY thing I'll say, and this isn't on them, very often some third party booking sites will say there's only one room left available when in reality only a very few are occupied. Don't let those sites make you think the place is packed full if you want to avoid that. Even right now I see one saying "only 1 room left" but there's very few people here (it is a Sunday during a time where very few people travel). They do that to make you panic and book it quick. And yeah the laundry machines may be dated but they're kept clean and they do the job just fine. Amarillo is always a mandatory stop to eat at the Big Texan whenever I'm in Texas, but I stay here for a nicer room for less than half the cost. Never once had any issues at all. Ever! PS I've also NEVER had a room smell of smoke either.
I recently stayed at the Super 8 and had a pleasant experience, warranting a solid 4-star rating. The rooms were nice, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to unwind. The service was commendable, with staff being attentive and friendly, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. Overall, a great value for the price, and I would recommend it to others looking for a reliable and comfortable stay.
Very nice and clean hotel. I needed a place to rest and put myself together while having a breakdown on my truck. This hotel was the perfect place. Room temperature was a 70 degrees, there is a laundry room, soap is $1.50 at the front desk, washer machine $1.50, drier machine $1.50, good breakfast. I recommend this hotel.
Room was not as clean as in pictures advertised, bathroom had a grime on parts of it and the air was completely off when walking in which in July is not the most pleasant thing. Front desk staff was lovely! Parking situation was also a little sketchy.
Room 206 was awful! The video I’m adding is from the ac in 206- the room was hot and humid. As a previous AGM for Marriott, my hats off to Maria she handled the situation politely and quickly. I appreciate it so much!! Second room was so much cooler and more quiet.
