Fun playground for kids. It is all sand, so make sure to pour out your kids shoes before you leave. If there was a bathroom of some sort, I did not see it. Not a ton of shade, but there are a few spots.
Sunshine Park is a quaint park in the southwest neighborhoods of Aberdeen. It features a playground for the school aged crowd, swings, merry-go-round, ball field, and basketball court. There are a good number of benches/picnic tables and shade trees for grown-ups. It's missing a port-a-potty and maybe some screening (as in trees or frencing). Unfortunately, some of the adjacent homes have junk in their backyards, not great to see, but definitely not stinky or awful. Some graffiti here and there. Bonus! Extremely clean park! No dog poo anywhere!
It is a nice little park. Specialy for little kids. Also is clean.
