Stayed in the campground. Full hookups at a good $/day. Picknick table, but no fire ring at sites.
I usually stay at chain hotels but everything was booked when I needed a room last minute. Made a reservation here and I’m SO glad I did. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early. The rooms are a good size, complete with a mini fridge, microwave, air conditioner, good size TV, and the MOST comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The best part was how incredibly clean the room was. Not a spec of dirt anywhere. It’s not super modern or fancy but it’s clean, quiet, and has everything you need. I will definitely book again when I’m in the area.
The owner is very kind and helpful in making us feel at home. We stayed here for a month while visiting family. Beautiful green space for the kids to explore and run around with a small playground. Pull through site and full hookups. Close to local services. It is near the train tracks, but the trains have not bothered us much at night. Cons: The spaces are tight, it’s only 30 amp, and No laundry on site. But, We would definitely stay again. It has been a great experience. And Lloyd is awesome.
For a basic motel/hotel with great rates, this place was one of my favorites. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back! Owner was very friendly, courteous and welcoming. The Room though a little dated, was very clean with fresh clean air smell. Love that there was camping available and my dog and son were welcomed! I look forward to a return trip.
My wife and i always stay at mom and pop type motels, never chain hotels The" Stop On Inn " we both agree is likely the nicest one we can recall in years of traveling. It was very clean and the rooms are large and comfortable. The grounds around the motel were spacious and well cared for. We will definitely stop here again.
