Stokes-Thomas Lake City Park
What people are saying
Sunset-taken from 8:34 to 9:21. A beautiful warm evening to enjoy. Didn’t see any hotel that I was to review. Good amount of campers, though!
Nice big sites. Clean and well taken care of Site 37 seems backwards to the way you pull around and have to back in
Site 20, absolutely gorgeous sunset views. Playgrounds were great for our kids! (8,6,2) The boardwalk along the lake made for some great views of the lake. Bathrooms were very clean. Loved this trip! We will definitely be back.
Love City Park! Stayed there many times, and never had any problems. It’s a great park for dog lovers, it’s close to Watertown, and close to the Casino Speedway! Gets loud on Sunday evening due to all the hot Rod worshippers, hot dogs & beer. Kampeska is a beautiful lake with good fishing and an even temperament.
The park is a beautiful place to camp and the lakeside is great. One night we were trying to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time sitting next to our camper but it was spoiled by the beeping backup horn of a payloader. This went on until 8:00 pm. This kind of work and noise should have been done during the daytime hours!
