Pros: The hotel is new and well maintained. The front desk staff who was there when I checked in late in the evening was really friendly. The rooms are good and spacious. Kitchen was clean. I would recommend staying here. Cons: The beds are very high even in rooms marked for physically disabled friendly. It's not easy for them to get into the bed. The pillow cover in my room had a dead mosquito and one of the towels had a hair in it. I think it's a minor oversight. We took 2 rooms and the other room was fine. They didn't clear the coffee maker in one of the rooms. I wish there was a few more options for breakfast.
Exceptional! This is an outstanding property. Everything is well maintained and squeaky clean. Lynn at the front desk is a super star. He made us feel so welcome! Our king one bedroom suite was very upscale...spotless and in like-new condition. Breakfast was definitely a step above competitors offerings. Stay here...you'll love it!
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. I travel for work about 15 days a month and this hotel is amazing! Upon check in, I was greeted warmly by the front desk. Not only did he welcome me, he acknowledged that I am a reward member. He informed me of the hotel amenities, the social hour and the breakfast. Once I arrived to my room, I was impressed by the spacious room and most importantly the cleanliness of the room. The room was sparkling clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Most importantly to me, the bathroom was clean! The social hour is Monday-Wednesday. The food was very basic type food, but was really tasty! Tacos, corn dogs, pasta, that kind of stuff. ! And you can’t go wrong with 2 free drinks. The breakfast spread was one of the best I’ve seen, and I’ve been traveling for 25 years. The staff on duty during the breakfast and social hour were very attentive to the cleanliness of the area, constantly cleaning the serving area and tables. The entire staff is friendly and trained well toward customer service. I highly recommend this hotel.
Hotel looks pretty new on the outside, but on the inside it is a whole lot different story. The whole building inside felt like an older, run down, tired building. It's funny when you read some of the recent reviews that rave about the place and have copied and pasted the same sentences... hmm, I wonder who are/is the person who wrote those? Sections of the bath tub caulking were peeling and blackened from mold. The pool area is... bad.. to be polite.. pool water - I refused to enter it - could not even see the bottom at the 3 foot depth. Went to hot tub, tiles are overgrown with greenish color residue, the white grout is just plane dirty black. Plaster falling off the ceiling, tons of water stains on the ceilings in pool and elevator areas. I've stayed in IHG hotels before, unfortunately, this one was my least favorite. Our room was shy on towels and had no toilet paper. Yes, we asked for it and got it but that is not what I would expect from a place I pay $150+ per night. The front desk person and the Breakfast staff were very friendly. Breakfast area was very well staffed and very clean and overall the best part of the hotel.
Great service from staff! Clean hotel, large rooms, comfortable bed!! Lots of towels, instead of just one per person! Great breakfast buffet, good selection of everything. Definitely not your average Staybridge.
