Staybridge Suites Allentown Bethlehem Airport
What people are saying
Feels like home away from home. Their rooms are cozy studio or one-two bedroom apartments equipped with a full kitchen thats stocked with utensils, paper towels, plates, bowls, pans, toaster, microwave, and even a dishwasher and dish soap/towels. Rooms have a nice size desk to work at and a separate living room area with a couch (pull out sofa), coffee table and of course flat screen TV. Staybridge really has all the comforts of home, the only missing piece is an oven for those that bake a lot. My favorite part was the free washers and dryers available for guests to use. The front desk service is very warm and welcoming as well. I highly recommend staying there, the rates are unbeatable for the accommodations received.
I called to make the reservation in the afternoon (2pm) and I provided the front desk with all my info including my credit card. I told them I would be checking in late which they said wouldn't be an issue. I arrived around 1am to check in and the front desk told me they didn't have my reservation. The person at the front desk was the same person I talked to on the phone, so they knew they made a mistake. It was annoying, but at least they were able to get me a room, however not after waiting 20 minutes at the front desk because they kept doing other things besides rectify the situation with me. I had been driving and just wanted to check in and go to sleep. I finally got into my room. Shower head/faucet was wonky, toilet didn't always flush the first time, and the air felt super dry. Next morning I called in for a late checkout and guest services was extremely short with me. They sounded rather unprofessional as they blamed no late checkouts due to "housecleaning always complaining". After telling me no, they just hung up on me. Would not recommend a stay there and I will never stay there again.
Fred, the manager is very friendly and professional. All of the staff was very nice and accommodating. The rooms are dated, but very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. I stayed here for 4 months while working in the area.
"Power saving feature" turns heat off on you in the middle of the night. No bath towels in room. Sink dripped nonstop Only about 5 minutes of hot water in the shower
My family came from FL and chose this hotel ,but it was a awful experience because it seemed like nobody cleaned the room and it looked like someone was there because we found pills on the floor. Also there was not toilet paper and when i tried to complain nobody helped me.
