Located just 2 miles from airport, so convenient for travelers. Rooms were nice and very clean. Complementary breakfast is a full buffet style. Many options to choose from including omelets and hot oatmeal. Next time I visit miami, I will be booking my stay here. Definitely recommend 👌
Frustrated to hear, upon arrival, that the hotel was experiencing some sort of gas issue so we may have situations like no hot water. UPDATE: indeed we had no hot water. They should have called and let me know so I could make other arrangements if that was a deal breaker and frankly I am livid. I get in the shower with no hot water! I don't even think it is legal for them to have patrons when they have no hot water. Not pleased that instead of "we are sorry for any inconvenience " i got more of a deal with it attitude from the front desk. Calling the desk later I did get a sorry but should have been offered some type of credit or refund. All I was offered was the managers email. Also a bit bothered by the parking. You pay but not to the hotel. No one told me when I checked in. In lot saw signs. You have to use your phone to pay by scanning a QR code. Going to a site, entering your license plate and credit card. Doing so in full sunlight and trying to type when you cannot view your phone is ridiculous. Get your license plate number and do it in the lobby. Web site was very poorly designed and I had to enter credit card information 3 times. Otherwise I would mark the hotel as decent. AC seemed broken in some way and spent the night waking constantly to being too hot or too cold and the comforter was too small for the bed so the ac on one side of the bed blew under the covers and directly on me. Not very restful. Bed was comfortable other than that
This hotel actually exceeded my expectations after reading the reviews here I see that a lot of people were a bit unfair. This hotel is extremely close to the airport and near everything. Miami is a huge city so complaining because you don’t find you food nearby is not fair. Another thing, hotels aren’t able to pick and choose who the allow to rent rooms so, yes of course there were many different people there and it’s not a tourist hotel, it’s an airport hotel and it’s not expensive so for the price I paid, I don’t expect to find the first class passengers but the economy crowd, deal with it. The front desk clerk Ulisses I believe was his name, was extremely accommodating and knew me by name on the next day, that is the kind of employee that a hotel fights to keep and if they don’t, I would employ him in a heartbeat. He’s got my card. People stop whining about there being sand on the beach! This hotel was great, inexpensive, had an excellent breakfast and the view of the lake, seriously, gorgeous. I will certainly go back. Saved under favorites.
I booked this hotel last minute when my flight was cancelled in Miami. I was pleasantly surprised with the size and comfort of the room. Free shuttle to the airport, and a complimentary breakfast make this hotel a great value. Manuel Castro was especially helpful at the front desk and gave me a generously late checkout time. Overall, this hotel helped turn a frustrating flight cancellation into a stress free overnight stay.
The hotel was clean and people were friendly. We enjoyed our stay. The pool is shaded in the afternoon so it felt cool to the kids. The room was on the small side for us (a family of five). The beds are only doubles and the bathroom is tiny. The sink is on the outside and open to the room which we didn't like. The location is by the airport which worked for us.
