There is something seriously wrong with the gentleman who works the night shift here. As another reviewer stated, he took exception with the amount if cream I was putting in my coffee & decided he would just charge me for two cups because he felt I was using too much milk. When I protested, HE CALLED THE POLICE! Of course he couldn't accuse me of anything illegal, so the officer just asked me to leave & not buy my coffee, which I did courteously and willingly. This man needs training on the meaning of customer service, ..and mental help.
Friendly place to fuel up and get a coke. Customer service was nice with a genuine hello and goodbye. Love that the sodas are 79 cents!
The last 3 times I've gone to this station for a coffee I have had a problem with the attendant trying to tell me that I'm not making it correctly. He doesn't seem to understand or comprehend that I get to make my coffee the way I like it, and someone really needs to get him clear on this. . Actually had the nerve to tell me I'm being rude when I told him to keep his combative criticism of how I make my cup & cease asking me how much milk & cream I use. Utterly rude and out of line. Although they have cameras, I recorded the interaction myself & will be sending it to corporate as soon as i can find the contact info.
The inside of this Speedway gas station located on Pembroke Pines is smaller than the other Speedway I frequently go to on Johnson Street. It's clean with the merchandise neatly organized on the shelves. Not much of food selection here. Mostly snacks, candy, cold beverages, sandwiches, Dunkin Donuts, lottery, cigarettes, and of course gas. The employee who tended to me was very nice. You can earn points/bonus points on items purchased, which you can redeem towards various rewards such as beverages, snacks, food, fuel, and gift cards. My only interest in coming to this Speedway location will be when I have a taste for donuts.
I shop at Speedway at least 4 times a week on my commute. I went to the location in Pines blvd. the CSA Cristina (according to her name tag) was very rude, after i waited for her to help a couple of customers because I wanted to redeem $80 I had won. She ignored me and refuse to ring me up for water, because she wanted to attend another customer who judged walked in. I cashed my lottery tickets and ended not purchasing the two bottles and other items that I was going to get. Horrible customer service, she was not only rude but condescending. I would not be coming here again!! We have Wawa every corner. I did call customer service, and Arthur was very kind to take my feedback. This CSA needs to coaches, maybe Arthur can do that!
