This station is one of the most scenic in the DART system. Unfortunately, it isn’t protected from the elements and it can smell like urine. I love the park space around it and the view of downtown
I'm waiting here at Southwest Medical Station and bus 453 is almost always either late or never shows up at all and I've sent numerous complaints to Dart customer service but nothing changes. I've been waiting here with a healthcare worker who usually rides the same bus with me after our night shift ends. We been waiting at least an hour for this bus to arrive. We're tired and we want to go home. The 7:38am Sunday bus did not arrive and now the 8:18am is 11 minutes late. There's a supervisor standing at bus 749 across the way and he ain't even bothered to come and ask us any questions like: how long we been waiting? When should we expect the next bus, etc.? It is now 8:35 am, still no sign of the bus and there are now, including myself, 4 people waiting on this bus!!! This is beyond ridiculous. A bus finally showed up at 8:40 am but now we gotta wait an additional 20+ minutes till his departure time. 🙄
This Train Station is perfect for many reasons. The fact that you can just ride the train to Parkland Hospital is a bomb. You don't have to stress yourself to drive and pay for parking at PARKLAND Hospital anymore. Even if you are going to UT Southwestern, you can just get off the train and ride the shuttle to UT Southwestern without worrying about driving or parking. They also have various buses come to this location. Ten Thumb Up to DART for this big improvement

I'm only giving a one-star because you have to do a one-star in order to do this. This is the most misdirected confusing Dart station not one person that works at parkland knew anything about the parking here at the DART station medical district. I'm giving y'all a minus-one star 👎 April 25 2023
