Very disappointed with our service at sonic. They didn't put any ice in our drinks, and when we asked for a cup of ice because we didn’t get any in our drinks they made us pay for it. My drink also had strawberries at the bottom that were fermented and tasted like gasoline. When we got home, the bacon on the burgers were basically raw. The food was not good at all and with being pregnant this was a huge health risk. Absolutely disgusting. Do not go here.

I made a simple order. A #2 with tots and a root beer. My total was $10.03. I handed the girl at the window $20.10 and received $9.97 in change. Then had to explain to her that I handed her $20.10 and my change should have been $10.07 not $9.97. Then a few minutes later she handed me a bag of food but no drink. So I had to ask for my drink. Is it really that difficult to give correct change and everything that was ordered? Now, I understand that fast food is a convenience but to be honest I could have had hot, tasty food at home that was SIGNIFICANTLY better than the barely warm food I received. This location has been going down hill for a while. Last time I was here my husband found fentanyl in the rest room. He then had to track down a car with a child because that child was in the rest room right before him and he wanted to let the parent know what he had found so the parent could watch out for any possible side effects.

These people don't care about customer service or being nice. We had to repeat our order TWICE and she still got it wrong. Never smiled once. They put bacon instead of sausage in my husband's burrito and 2 slices of UNMELTED cheese on my cheesy tots. SO DISAPPOINTING WE WON'T BE BACK. You can tell the drive thru cashier hates her job. We went on July 28th at 145pm. That girl needs retraining

Until yesterday I would have rated this place higher; I've been coming here for years since moving to Athens. But yesterday I ordered a chicken sandwich meal, took it home, got 3 bites into it and got a mouthful of raw chicken. I took it and the receipt back to the store and was given $3 dollars and some change back, and was told that I couldn't have the whole meal refunded because I didn't bring it back to the store. The meal that I couldn't eat because I got 3 bites in and vomited. I'm a manager at different restaurant - I know it's a pain to work with displeased customers, but if I ever sent out raw *anything* I would refund the customer's meal immediately upon being presented with the food in question. Especially chicken. I was obvious shaken and disgusted with the experience, sought a solution politely, and was firmly shut down for a simple refund?? For serving raw *chicken* of all things? It's bad cooking, bad customer service, and an all-around bad way to end my night. This place is fine, when the thing that can give you salmonella is cooked correctly. Eat at your own risk.

This was my second experience with Sonic, both times this location. The food seems like standard fair. Not bad. The picture make the hotdog look like it has shredded cheddar it it is actually cheese sauce slathered on it. Same with the tater tots. The packaging is weird and my condiments always get smashed to the top of the paper. It is rather hard to eat without making a ridiculous mess. I tore the paper from the top because sliding it out would have been impossible. Service for this location gets a 4-. They are courteous and are prompt to take your order and get it right. However, the first time they left out the fork, how do you eat this without a fork?! The second time they left out the napkins. Again, how? They fixed it when I called but I had to wait five minutes both times which meant… cold food.
