I did not like my stay here. I will stick to Marriott or even a best western lol. Pool closed at 8pm sharp, kids were swimming having fun and was told to get out. While it was so hot still. No complimentary breakfast or even coffee in the lobby. No late check out if you do want one it's 30.00. It was 30.00 a day to park on a empty parking lot.
I enjoyed my stay here. I like the outdoor fireplace with the lights hanging above, and the room was comfy. One of my pillow corners had some brown substance on it, and the blanket had a small spot of blood stain on it, but other than that, it was nice. I booked this place because of their free shuttle to the airport, which the receptionist helped me with when I checked in. She asked when my flight was and arranged 2 best possible options to take the shuttle at. I was sad that the pool closed so early. The hours are 8am - 8pm. I went in the morning to see if I could sneak in a swim, but the water wasn’t warmed and there were some bugs in the pool so I decided not to.
Upside: Comfortable bed, spacious room (got room for wheelchair access) and no noise from nearby airport. Downside: Room was run down, the carpet was dirty, the water in the bath tube did not work properly. No complimentary bottle(s) of water in the room. The patio area with pool not properly cleaned and maintened - saw a dead mouse, lots of leaves and dirty/run down furniture, The staff at reception was ok-ish, nothing to complain about but also no kudos for being motivated, friendly or attentive. What really annoyed me, were the snacks & drinks next to reception - no price tags but a total rip-off ... among other $8 plus tax for a 1 liter bottle of water. Overall, overpriced, would not recommend
Arrived late on a Thursday night and even though we did have to wait a bit for the shuttle, the driver was helpful and friendly. One of the only drivers we saw getting out to assist guest with luggage. Upon arrival, Stephan was super friendly and fast with our check in. We were pleasantly surprised to have been upgraded (our first time with this chain) to a suite. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The next morning, Jordan was a pleasure with helping us organize accommodations. The public transport is at the door and very user friendly. One 6 minute walk up the block took us to restaurants, pharmacy and grocery store. The area, even being somewhat industrial was quiet and calm. The hotel is well maintained, clean and animal friendly. I would stay again.
Shoutout to Doreen! We were able to talk to her this morning and she listened to us and we felt heard and she made it right. She just changed our one star review to five stars. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. From the shuttle from the airport down to dealing with staff at the front desk. It took us over 2 hours to get from the airport to the hotel. There wasn’t even enough pillows in our room and when we asked they said they didn’t have anymore and made fun of us for being slightly upset about it. I would never stay here again and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
