Good hotel, although I normally stick to the big name brands. Clean and secure which are important features. Although not free, there was plenty of parking and ready access in and out with room card. I was not terribly surprised but room service was every other day, maybe 3rd day, a finer point that I missed on check in. Front desk willing and able to accommodate the extra towel and wash cloth request. The coffee machine in the room was broken, but I didn't report it (so I am part of the problem).
Wanted to surprise my daughter woth a great hotel for our first mother daughter trip, and this is definitely not what I was expecting. I booked at the hotel because of the pool only to find out the pool isn't accessible due to renovations, which I did not receive notice of. My room wasn't very clean. There was also a smell throughout the hallways and in my room. The construction is literally out of my window. Very disappointing for what I thought I had booked. I expected a 4.2 star hotel.. its not what I got.
I found this place by accident reserving a spot for long term trying to catch a flight to Peru 6/9/24. Justin at the front desk was so fantastic and helpful and just wonderful in every way that when we couldn't fly out that day we decided to stay a night! Justin genuinely cared about our troubles and was happy when we finally got our stuff in order. I will be back to stay just to see Justin again. Thank you so much Justin.💙
While staying at the hotel for a layover, the receptionists were very kind and understanding. Unfortunately, if you are choosing this hotel for the amenity of The Sonesta Shuttle for transportation to & from the airport your luck will run out! A decent amount of the lodgers are staff of airlines. They receive first priority for the shuttle. So if you’re trying to leave early in the morning, you’ll more and likely be left. My spouse and I were trying to get to the airport at 8:00am via shuttle. We were the first in line for our luggage to be put on the shuttle. Air staff’s luggage was prioritized first. This in itself is not a problem, I understand that they’re on a strict schedule and have to get to work. However, the problem is with the driver giving us the impression that he put our luggage on the shuttle. He never informed us that he did not have enough room. Our bags were left out in front of the hotel. If another passenger didn’t make us aware that he’s driving off WITH OUR BAGGAGE OFF OF THE BUS. We would’ve arrived at the airport without our belongings. It’s a shame because our things could’ve been stolen and the hotel would not have reimbursed us. I hope no one will have the experience we did. :(
I can’t believe how nice this Hotel is. Got off our cruise early, showed up early for our Day Pass and was checked in early. Like 2 hours early. Wow!! Was so grateful!! Staff at front desk was very kind. Room was spacious and very clean. Ate some breakfast and watched all the employees bust their butts!! I mean they do an amazing job on their buffet. Keep everything filled and clean. Hostess lady was everywhere, checking people in, clearing tables, spraying them down clean. I highly recommend this Hotel and will be my pick my next visit to Miami , Florida for sure.
