I hadn't been to Skippers in close to 15 years and honestly wasn't even sure if they were still open. I haven't seen a commercial for them in forever and hadn't been since I moved to Washington, but let me tell you, the fish and chips are just as good as I remember. The chowder, on the other hand, seemed different from what I remember. It seemed thinner and tasted like it was missing something. It was more like a soup than a chowder. Other than the chowder which I used to love, it was great, and if my wife liked fish, we would probably go here more often.

Not terrible, not great. Food-wise, the chowder was surprisingly good. I'm not a huge seafood person so I went for the chicken strips, but they had a fishy taste. I'm sure it was just fried in the same oil, but fishy chicken did not sit well with me They do have table service and a condiment bar that you have access to. The building itself is worn, but not terrible. The bathrooms were also surprisingly clean!

Lunch was great except the chowder was cold. It still tasted good. I'm not one to send food back and complain. Just a suggestion to make sure it's heated up properly.

02 August 2022 - 2 Stars This restaurant is extremely worn and in need of fixing up - both inside & out. I have not been in this brand in many years, as the restaurants in my town (Yakima, WA) closed long ago. The fish is no longer large pieces, but small-to medium shape triangle sticks. The Chowder also was thinner and less tasty then I remember. I was disappointed in the meal today.

We used to have a Skippers in Greeley, CO years ago. It closed. To the Skippers franchise- WE NEED A SKIPPERS BACK IN COLORADO. BEST Clam Chowder E-VER. The fish was absolutely wonderful. Nothing around here for a quick fast meal compares. PLEASE bring Skippers back to us.
