I've rented from Sixt in the past but never from this location and did not think to read the google reviews prior to booking. Recently during my trip to Seattle, I rented a vehicle from the Sixt Seatac location. Upon returning the vehicle, I was provided with an invoice in the amount of $245, which was uploaded to the Sixt App. Approximately 24-48 hours later, the invoice was CHANGED to over $700! They added a $400 smoking fee which is completely shocking when you DON'T SMOKE. I contacted Sixt in an attempt to resolve the issue and was met with complete disregard. DO NOT RENT from this company, as they will steal your hard earned money and think they owe you nothing! I've rented from numerous car rental companies in the past and have never had such a disappointing experience. This truly ruined my vacation to Seattle due to the stress of Sixt charging whatever they want to my card. They provided the attached photos, in an effort to justify them charging unauthorized amounts to my card and recreating invoices whenever they feel like it. There are multiple different car rental companies at Seatac. Save yourself the headache and choose a different car rental company! As you view the photos, you will notice a photo of dirty cup holders. The cup holders looked like this upon picking up the vehicle. Since my complaint directly to their company, they have refunded me $47.50. The experience with Sixt continues to only become more and more frustrating!! Not to mention, the vehicle provided to us was in need of maintenance. There was an issue with the brakes and all tires had low tire pressure, which left me to put air in the tires myself, in the rain! 4/5/2024- As an update to this review, Sixt has still been unwilling to resolve this issue. I responded to the companies comment on this review per the directions provided. I again received another carless response, with the unwillingness to resolve the issue. The fact of this situation is, is that this company can "say" whatever they want, in an effort charge you whatever amount they feel like. As I stated above, save yourself the headache and choose another car rental company when visiting Seattle! I also encourage anyone who is considering renting from this location to read the Yelp reviews for Sixt's Seatac location. There are multiple Yelp reviews where the same thing that happened to me, happened to many others. The Better Business Bureau also has some very telling reviews on this location.

I have been renting from Sixt in many different countries and cities. They are by far the best in terms of consistency, the quality of services and vehicles. The SEA location is no exception, excellent and quick service, a clean car with no added dramas. Exactly what you want from a reputable brand, and definitely worth the premium over other places. My Platinum status was acknowledged (even though it was just a status match from Avis). Rather than forcefully upselling me unnecessary upcharge, the agent simply reminded me the options/risk which I appreciate. The pick up and return process was seamless and effortless, and I can't say enough good things about all of their staff. Unfortunately the class I booked was unavailable (3 series or equivalent) but the agent upgraded to a BMW X5 which is appropriate. I often joke about the best thing about Sixt is that they have BMWs, but the worst thing about Sixt is that it's always a BMW (they do have other brands but I have been given a BMW 7 out of 10 times). Their fleet is arguably the best among the other rental car companies.

Experienced five star treatment with SIXT. There was no line when I got in. The gentleman at the counter was courteous and professional, outside of the extra add on pitches they’re obligated to give. He didn’t overly press when I declined and I did receive a free upgrade from my selected vehicle. I was in and out of check in and in my rental in 15 minutes. The car itself was extremely clean (basically brand new). After my 2 week rental drop off was a breeze. I followed the signs to the SIXT drop off and an agent met me at the car. We reviewed the vehicle together and I was off to catch the shuttle at the airport within ten minutes. As annoying and pricy as car rentals can be this was as smooth as I could ever have imagined. I would recommend renting through SIXT.

Reserved a car months in advance. Flight was delayed by two hours. When we landed went to go pick up the car and they told us they had cancelled the reservation since we were late for our pickup time. Would not give me a refund at that time and told me to contact support. Had to rent another car for the week. 5 days go by after emailing back and for with customer support and they told me they will not issue me a refund. I NEVER EVEN GOT THE CAR! Worst experience would give zero stars if I could.

Mr Tyrone on 3/14/24 was great. Our flight was delayed coming in. We weren’t sure what vehicle we would get. We were in Seattle to visit family and celebrate my husband birthday. Mr Tyrone made us feel at home. He also got us a great car for us.
