Rented from Sixt five times so far, pricey if last minute, but they made sure I got a nice car for my time, every time so far though, thank you. Counter staff were very helpful.

Be very, very careful with this car rental agency! We prepaid for a 2-series BMW. When we arrived, we were pleasantly pleased to find that there was no line (other rental agencies inundated) and they had 'upgraded' us to an X3. We accepted the car without inspecting it carefully, drove around Boston and environs for a couple of days and returned it. We didn't inspect the car prior to return. The person to which we returned the car told us everything was good and the receipt would arrive via email. The email arrived on the flight home informing us that they had discovered a scrape on the bumper and that we were liable for damages. A few days later we received a bill for more than $600. The amount is a nuisance and not worth the time fighting over, but a quick look at the reviews of SIxt reveals that this appears to be a common practice. We recommend avoiding them as there are plenty of other agencies that are happy to rent you luxury cars at comparable prices. If you really must rent from these guys, we recommend making a video walk around of the cars condition before driving off and returning. It may save you a nuisance charge later.

Be careful… My flight unfortunately got canceled when the Microsoft update crashed multiple flights. Getting someone on the phone is nearly impossible and they will not give us a full refund for the rental. I understand if it was a cancel for my own personal reason but this was out of my control and they are not willing to work with the customer. We will not be using this car rental company again.

The customer service in the airport where you sign the contract was lacking. Slow, not very helpful, and was not offered the car I reserved. Daniela who was able to provide the car of my choice once in the garage was amazing. She was cheerful and provided great customer service.

I rent very frequently from SIXT across various countries and have been to the Boston branch a couple of times. Amongst all of the branches I have been to, the experience and service here have been the best by a far margin, only because of the leadership team. One of my earlier rentals here were handled by the duty manager Scott, who took great care of myself and family. I recently went back due to a mind-numbing trainwreck disaster of an issue with my rental from the Westin Hotel branch, which was caused by the severe incompetency of the Orlando airport branch. Though it had absoultely nothing to do with this branch, Farley - the senior manager - took the time to hear me out and went up and beyond to swap out the car for me to a much better one, and applied an additional discount to the rental. Despite being quite busy, he was an absolute gentleman, personally walking me all the way through the entire process and ensuring that things were done right. He also managed to sort this incredibly quickly, whereas at other branches, I once had to wait up to 4-5 hours to get a car. If you rent from this branch, rest assured that you are well taken care of. It takes a certain skill that only very few posses to turn a disgruntled and enraged customer like I was into a very happy one. It is customer service of that elevated level that Farley and Scott offer that will keep me coming back to this branch. Also, a big shoutout to Roman, who handles car returns. He has a great friendly personality and is the only car rental staff I have ever encountered who takes the initiative to offload my luggage from the car - such first class service!
