Sheraton Ann Arbor Hotel
What people are saying
This Sheraton is the best. When I am coming into town to go to Detroit I stay here because it’s better than the hotels in the D. Better pricing, better amenities, nicer staff, cleaner space. It’s huge, with comfortable, quality furniture throughout and a washer and dryer that are usually free if you have an extended stay. I wish their breakfast had thick bacon, & it would be nice if there were ice machines, but that’s really my only complaint. Even with that, it’s still worth it for me to just make the drive to Detroit and back & I *hate* to commute. Also it’s nice just knowing that the air quality is going to be good. I came out here because I got bronchitis from a hotel air conditioner at another hotel that will not be named and it’s just nice knowing I can breathe freely and not have to worry about my health. The staff at the hotel make it special and they are all great from the cleaning crew to the manager- competent, proactive, friendly. A+ would and have recommended.
The hotel is in a great location and the staff were all super amazing. I have to say this hotel had incredible customer service. However the rooms were in terrible shape. Very old and dated. As you can see, there was black mold in my shower, which is definitely a health hazard. The rooms were not super clean and the internet went down while I was there, making it impossible for me to work in my room. I had to go down to the lobby to work in my pajamas, which I was not super thrilled about. Overall I commend this location for the staff, but those rooms need renovations, bad.
Stayed here while visiting U.Michigan. Good location to the school as it is a short 10 minute drive. Newly renovated space with clean rooms. The staff that I encountered was friendly. Good size fitness center in the hotel as well. The lounge was closed since it was the weekend (Fri-Sun) which is issue with Marriott properties. They should have access for minimal drinks and snacks. They can do with out the breakfast and happy hour, etc on weekends. Was given vouchers for the buffet breakfast to utilize at the restaurant.
My company decided to hold a training in Ann Arbor for the first time. It was extremely important to make a good impression on our clients. The hotel was clean and comfortable and all of the staff were super friendly and professional . However it is important to highlight Larry, who took the time to remember drink orders, preferences, make recommendations and insuring that our customers left happy on each day of our training. Nothing like coming in from a long work day to be remembered and treated so well.
Stayed at the Sheraton Ann Arbor for a one night business trip. The hotel was recently renovated and the rooms are very modern and inviting. It reminds me of the newer renovated Marriott hotels that I have traveled to recently. I am a Platinum Elite member so I received a free breakfast buffet which was excellent. The hotel is also close to University of Michigan and it directly across the street from the mall. I will stay at this hotel in the future when in town.
