They will tax you on grocery items and will short change you if you pay in cash.

WATCH OUT. They are taxing on grocery items. I purchased milk for $1.99 and paid $2.34. Even if the milk is subject to "local sales tax," that's more than 6 cents on the dollar. Beware!

I filled up my car with premium here because they take the Bi-Lo fuel points, but ended up paying a mechanic to pump the gas out of my car. I went to two separate mechanics who diagnosed the gas as being bad. The first gave me an additive that was supposed to allow me to burn the bad gas without doing damage to my car (it was just supposed to run rough), but it ran too rough for me trust it over a long distance. Before taking it down to Atlanta, I took it to a different shop and said nothing about the first mechanic and received the same answer. When I came clean that he was the second one to tell me the same thing, he suggested that I pump the gas out of my car and fill up elsewhere. I will not take my car back to this Shell station and hope that you reconsider before stopping there.
