Senor Miguels
What people are saying
Biggest pro is their salsa if you like spice. My personal con is that they don’t have aguas frescas. First appearance not great (outside of restaurant and peeking into the ordering window). I came cause I had their breakfast burrito from a coworker and it was a really good burrito (steak, mild). Tried their Saturday daily special, breakfast kids quesadilla plate C, and their bean and carnitas burrito (hot). Daily special good price, beans seemed to be out of the can. Overall okay meal. Carnitas and bean burrito tasted great but hard to hold, ironic cause it’s called handheld. The kids chicken quesadilla was good and more than enough for a kid. Chicken was moist and cheddar not overpowering. Came with fries. 4 stars because of their spicy salsa and overall good food for the price (about 23$ in all)
It's one of those hole in the wall shops that you walk into, see the unique and personalized decor and know immediately, "This food is going to be the GOOD stuff." Then you get your food and are proven right. Not to mention it's cheap. I only ever spend $8-$11 per person. Staff has always been friendly too. Also there's something to be said about eating Mexican food under the banners of our Armed Services while a statue of an Italian chef looks over the dining room, and I love every second of it.
These guys have the best tasting, best priced breakfast burritos I’ve ever found, including all my travels across the US. I’m continually disappointed when traveling to other cities that I can’t find anything even close. I have been eating Senior Miguel’s breakfast burritos at least weekly, if not more often, for LITERALLY 20 years, (no exaggeration, I discovered them in 2004). For the longest time they were $2.50 each. They only raised the price to $3.00 a few years ago. Still an unbelievable deal for a delicious breakfast burrito!
Nice people. Terrible food. Only people in the place and waited 20 minutes for 3 burritos. Very cold. Very bland. Was like dogfood with a few shreds of cheese in there. I feel like I would be doing a disservice for people to look this place up and saw that they had a 4 star review and expect something decent.
I ordered from Señor Miguel for a work breakfast, and they exceeded my expectations! Not only do they have great food for reasonable prices, but they are attentive, on time, and competent in the extreme! At a time when customer service seems to be disappearing, it’s refreshing to work with places like Señor Miguel’s! I’ll be going back!
