What people are saying
I was surprised at how quickly they were able to take the order. The vegetables in my sandwich were so fresh and juicy. The employees were nice, and the place looked clean and neat.
Fun looking shop ended up being completely misleading. Person making my smoked turkey sandwich had no emotions, the $14 sandwich was basically a homemade sandwich packed for a toddler with two slices of turkey. The worst sandwich I’ve ever bought. I should have realized when there was no line during peak hours.
Sara Lee Sandwich shoppe is a serviceable airport food place. Service is a little grim (tough place to work?). Sandwiches are fine… not great not bad. Prices are moderate. Ordering and payment process is confusing, but it was fine. Things could have been a little cleaner…it didn’t feel like a good place to sit down
I tried the teriyaki Panini, and it was actually really, really good. The lady who made it was fast and efficient if not chatty. Made to order on the spot, the chicken was tender and the sauce and cheese on the hot panini bun was tasty. It was a good lunch option that didn’t cost an arm and a leg like many of the places in the airport. I would order one again. The dining area is definitely lacking for atmosphere, so I went out and settled in one of the personal cubby chairs farther down the airport to eat.
Bagel doesn’t look too good in the photo but would definitely be up there with one of the best airport foods that I had
