Loved our first-time visit. Not disappointed. Completely understand why they are always busy; short wait time. Large portions, great location, friendly staff, amazing food. Couldn’t ask for better. Will definitely make this a regular spot.

Step into a "home" setting as you walk into the yellow building's doors for Sandy's Restaurant. With booths surrounding the edges and long family-style tables in the middle, you will find enough seating for your family. The service is friendly and the coffee is hot. Two biscuits and gravy, are a meal all by themselves!....but I would suggest an order of sausage to go along with them, as I personally enjoy more sausage in my gravy. Bacon has an excellent flavor and was quickly enjoyed, along with the pancakes. If you are traveling out of Colorado Springs on Hwy 24 and looking to get out town early, this restaurant is the ideal option: right off the highway and opens at 5:30am (6am Sundays).

I’ll start by saying the food was Hot fresh nothing frozen no added msg it’s valid hearty food made with love and a sense of urgency the cinnamon rolls are amazing y’all most definitely wanna pull up on’em

So many people eave about this place already, and I'm here to do the same!...we had to wait to be seated, but no less than three employees checked on us while we were waiting. After we were sat and ordered, the food arrived QUICK! I shared a bite with my wife and someone came to see if we needed an extra plate. They brought her a bowl with extra butter....it's the little details that this place blew our minds. My wife said she's NEVER eaten at a place that was so attentive before! GREAT SERVICE Sandy's!...and the food....great as usual!

Food and service take me back to growing up in an old diner. I love all the food and the drinks are simple but tasty. I rate the atmosphere as middle because either you love old diners or you will hate them. Portions are huge, look to share
