They just want your money. They don’t care about the customers. Did an online order on Sunday for 5pm. Get a notification at 7pm that they were behind and now shopping for my groceries. At 756pm I get a notification that my groceries are ready for pick up and I have until 8pm. So I have 4 minutes to get to the store to pick up my groceries. So Monday I go to get my groceries and I call to pick and they said someone will be out there. Waited thirty minutes tried to call again and no answer. So I call the customer service to cancel my order. Was told it would be 5-7 business days to get my refund. . They took my money and I am still waiting on the refund. I will never go to Safeway again.
Obviously this is not for corporate because these problems have been going on for over 7 YEARS!! and still the problems continue. So this post is for my fellow humans. Please DON'T patronize this pharmacy. I needed a transfer of my prescription to this Safeway pharmacy. Went in on a Sunday and said it might take them, Walgreens 3 days to transfer. To make a phone call? But okay. Called Tuesday to check and see if the transfer had gone through yet and the woman at Safeway said no. So I called Walgreens to see what the hold up was and it was Safeway not putting in the transfer yet. Lied right to me as easy as slipping your shoes on. Shouldn't surprise me anymore because it seems to have become the norm. for society. You are trained to prepare medication that in some instances are life and death. Even if they aren't it's medicine a medical professional has deemed pertinent for there health care needs. It's not like I ordered a pizza and it came in the wrong crust...ITS MEDICINE!! Something needs to be done about this location. Someone will die if they already haven't from there lack of professionalism and time management from this location. The local management may not do anything but know that corporate will and will continue to walk across who I have to for this problem to be solved.
Having to have the app to clip coupons is annoying. Plus 2 out of 3 times it doesn't work and you have to have a manager or someone to get the deal that is posted and advertised all over the store and in circular. Just go back to all deals for loyalty members without all the hoops, especially if you can't get technology to work correctly.
I love this store. It's close to where I live and I can always get a basket or a cart The employees are always willing to go above and beyond to help me.
On a regular occurrence individuals have pet dogs in the store that they put in the carts and wheel around the store while the dogs bark at people. Before anyone says they are service animals, If you're unaware, service animals must always be on the floor and never in a cart. Not only is this practice unsanitary considering the dog's feet have been all over the parking lot, ground and wherever else, but they're also sitting in the cart and I for one don't want my groceries where a dog's butt has been. I have raised this issue to the managers after getting barked at by a dog and she didn't seem to really care. Even going so far as to say she didn't care if I brought my pet dogs in, as long as they were nice. The issue is the more you allow this the more prevalent it becomes as individuals think that because someone else did it they're allowed to. So next time you're there make sure and use one of the sanitization wipes on the whole cart, not just the handle.
