A very friendly welcome and we were seated right away. Decided to try the Elk meatballs… yummy! Each of us had cocktails I tried the huckleberry cosmo and my husband had the smoked old fashioned. We had the surf and turf and the prime rib stroganoff. Serving size is large and truly we should have shared. On sour note is some 1.9% service fee (I know small right?) that was tacked onto our bill with no explanation other than this fee is not given to the servers tips are expected on top of the fee.

What a cool place!!! From the outside, you'd never know what you're walking in to. Cool atmosphere, good seating, and the food was spectacular. I had a huckleberry pulled pork sandwich and it was BONKERS. My sister had bison meatloaf which was also delicious!!!! I live in CDA and will go back for sure. Service was very attentive, and friendly. Highly recommend!!!

The Rusty Mouse was a truly great experience, from food quality and taste, to service, presentation and atmosphere. Wow! Great job! We tried the Cheese stuffed Elk meatballs, Duck Pot Pie and the Wedge Salad. Each of those dishes were exceptional.

Excellent service on a Wednesday evening. Sat in the lounge area, played roulette with dinner and it did not disappoint. Had the Duck pot pie and the Bison Meat Loaf. Excellent flavor in both dishes. Must come here.

The Rusty Moose was an experience. I needed lunch and it's one of few restaurants in the area that doesn't have fast food. I ordered the wagyu burger amd fries with the house made BBQ sauce. The burger was good and so were the fries. I wasnt a fan of the house BBQ sauce but everything else was tasty. On my next visit when I have more time to enjoy the experience, I plan to try one of the wild game options.
