You can tell it's an old hotel when you first enter. They are remodeling some of the rooms now. It is clean and the restaurant across the street is awesome. Like another review said, it's good for a night, but I wouldn't stay longer than that. They do not have an elevator....the construction went on until 2am, so not a good night of sleep. I forgot to add...they have transportation to and from the airport, but it's not reliable. It takes a very long time for them to come. It was 45 minutes for me and over an hour for my sister. Also, you have to step up into the shower which is slippery, so be careful.
You get what you paid for. I agree with the other reviews. This place is not clean. Always find other occupants hair on things and there are questionable stains. The only plus is the free transportation to and from airport and to the port if you are going on a cruise. I would have put breakfast but that was barely a breakfast (just bread, coffee, and whole fruits) a real disappointment for me. If you want to feel comfortable at night knowing you are in a clean room, go somewhere else.
Initially I had a negative reaction to the place but it began to grow on me. The shuttle service from the airport was unreliable. It's relatively clean, the breakfast is basic but good. Service is ok. Housekeeping is good. Rooms are compact and the bathroom is small. The laundry area is scary and looks unsanitary. Overall the experience is passable, once you don't expect too much. You basically get what you pay for.
Booked this room for an overnight stay and it was ok. The staff was nice and Check in was really quick. You can tell its one of the older hotels but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Only con (which isn't a major issue) was parking, there were barely any spots and also the shower was a little small. ..it made me feel claustrophobic but other than that I enjoyed my stay.
Cheap and decent. Not very clean, the shower looked dirty and it leaked. At least the room smelled nice but the hallway smelled like cigaretts. The breakfast was not very good, especially if you don't like sweet breakfasts. All I could stand was toast with butter and an orange. The staff was nice and the shuttles were frequent.
