We were able to rent the Roxy for our daughter's birthday party. It's such a sweet, nostalgic place. It's a little rigid with times, and we had a lot of people and decor, so setting up & taking down was cumbersome but that was our own fault. The theatre itself is well-kept & clean and everything we could have asked for. *keep in mind that during a birthday party, they will not do popcorn or any refreshments. Overall, really fun time! Rick is such a nice guy.
Will never go to normal theaters again: this is 10/10. So quaint, so intimate. Absolute perfection. I felt like I was taken back in time where life was meant to be enjoyed. This is my new spot
This was a wonderful and fun visit ! To see such an old theater still in operation was amazing! The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great! I did go to see a movie which was really good but the theater it’s self over took me on my first visit. Looking forward to return future visits!
I love the Roxy. I came here all the time when I was a kid and it's still one of my favorite places to visit! It feels so nostalgic. Tickets are $4 and the refreshments are very affordable. The theatre is always clean and nothing beats the dim, red, old time aura inside. It still gives off the same vintage and historic feel as well (built in 1921) and I hope nothing ever changes. I can't wait to come back again.
Classic movie theater with more affordable movies ($4 at maximum) appropriately timed to their release date (a month or less later)! The staff is super professional & hard-working! You will love the 1920's feel of this theatre from the exterior & interior! They also have live performances, so be sure to CHECK THE CALENDAR OFTEN! 📅
