Pleasant, with a long length and natural natural recreational space: )) picturesque landscapes, mountain passes and river. Passing through nearby : ))
The swimming area used to be great for kids. Not sure if all the sand got washed away. Park is nice. The restrooms work but the sink water has been turned off. Good for fishing. Be careful for snakes in the remote areas of the park.
Beautiful area. Unfortunately there has been a water problem. Fixed partially the grass is coming back. Now trying to get restrooms open. Its been rough for the Roosevelt Park. But they are working on it. This little park is beautiful. Lots to do. Just need some TLC a bit of PATIENCE and some PRAYERS as well.
I didn’t see a mention of this anywhere but no tent camping is allowed during the week. And the bathrooms which were mentioned several times are shut down. I know this site is in the adventure cycling map but not really set up for a great experience. It does beat the roadside, and the grounds are nice.
Watch the middle aged men sail the seas on litto surfboards while eating food from the Columbia River Country Store (see review) and contemplating the pleasant meaninglessness of this life and moment. There are also nesting swallows, cranes, pelicans, big azz fish, butterflies and a bathroom.
