Photos were deceptive, the hotel did not look like it did online at all. Although the front desk staff provided great customer service the hotel itself was sub par. The hallway had an odor. Our room was huge however it was dirty and outdated. There was a roach in the bathroom as soon as we got there, the ceiling had spots where it was peeling and the phone in our room did not work. There also was no iron. The bedding was just okay. We slept comfortably for the most part. There was another roach in the bathroom in the middle of the night. Let's just say I was glad that we were only there for one night and checking out soon. It is definitely somewhere that you stay for a night if you have to. It's dry and somewhat safe as far as the surrounding neighborhood is concerned. With a deep cleaning, extermination services and a few updates this easily would have been a great review.... customer service/staff was pleasant and professional however we are in no rush to stay here again.
Had made prior reservations, paid ahead of my trip and when we arrived, we were told they had double booked and didnt have a room for us. They never tried to contact us about it. The clerk was not exactly pleasant about it. So, at 9pm on a friday, we had to try to find a different hotel, took us over an hour as everywhere else was full. The rest of our group still had their 2 rooms, so we were inconvenienced by the separation as well. It took 5 days to receive our refund. To be honest, I wasn't mad about it after seeing the photos our friends took of their rooms. The Residence Inn by Marriott, where we ended up was absolutely lovely and very accommodating. Their staff was far more personable as well.
This hotel was horrifying. By far the worst stay I have ever experienced. I had to book something last minute and should have read the reviews instead of the overall average. When you pull up, you can see graffiti on the side of the building, the parking lot looks worn down, and there is the abandoned, overgrown pool in the back. The lobby looked nice enough. There was a surprising "B" rating of sanitation posted behind the desk. The entire hotel smells musty and of smoke. Another guest was actually smoking in the elevator. We get to our room (which looks like something of a worn down horror film hotel) to see the fire sprinklers are covered with a plastic bag and there was a roach hanging out in the bathroom. There was a fairly wide gap between the wall A/C unit and the actual wall, so it was just an opening to the outside. The shower tiles and toilet lid were obviously not clean and had some sort of substance on them. The travel sized shampoo/soap were clearly used when we got there and left out for other guests to use. I was actually surprised to not find bed bugs. The TV did not work and there were tears in some of the furniture. The real delightful part of the stay (notice my sarcasm) was the overnight part. If you enjoy sleeping to the sounds of gun shots, street racing, yelling and partying of neighbors, this is certainly the place for you. We were getting phone calls throughout the night to our room with no one on the other line. Someone also tried to open our door in the middle of the night. If I hadn't booked a nonrefundable, I would have been out of there in the first 5 minutes. The fact that this hotel has not be condemned yet is startling. DO NOT BOOK.
Extremely bad service, staff is rude and the manager Rashi never returns a call when we’ve been trying to reach him for over a month. We had a reservation which we canceled immediately at the time of checking in due to the area of where our rooms were located were not in conditions to be rented. There were wires all over security doors were not locking and it was totally unsafe. The front desk lady totally understood the reasons why we had to cancel our reservation and go look for another place to stay. We were told the refund should show up in our account in 5 to 7 days. It’s been a month now and every time we call the manager is busy and we’ve been told the refund was done which it has not. We have email him and still no response. We’ve asked to speak with someone higher up and they refuse to give us the information. Our refund is around $500. If it was only for one room or one night it we would let it go. Anyone making reservations here check your rooms before you pay. This uncalled for when we have tried in numerous occasions to speak with someone to resolve this. We are a music business and rent rooms all the time on a daily basis. We have never encountered such unprofessional managers nor staff at other hotels.
This is by far THE WORST HOTEL I have ever stayed in! The crime around this hotel and the hotel itself are scary. The room had roaches bed bugs under the mattress, water was saturated all over the floor along with juice stains & whatever else had been in. the room. The hallways smell so bad. The ac didn't work. I left and didnt even want a refund it was nasty!!. The hotel employees were about to fight behind the counter...ugh never again!!!! This hotel should be where they shoot horror movies at!!!
