At first my experience was horrible. Booked 2 weeks in advance to be told when I arrived I couldn't get a room until 10 pm. So after waiting an hour for a room I was given a room with no a.c. I have two kids one of them being under a year old. Everywhere else was booked so I had no options other than to stay in the hot room. I spoke to front desk the next morning about switching rooms when ppl checked out because we reserved for two nights. I was then told they would not be able to switch my room and if they couldn't get maintenance I would have to check out or stay in the hot room... and pay full price. Everything changed when housekeeping came knocking to let us know about check out. MINNIE saw me and my babies in this hot room and jumped straight into action. Getting a room cleaned and switching us herself! She went above and beyond for me and my family. She has the most upbeat attitude and truly cares for people! If you ever find yourself Herr and need anything please seek her out. She is absolutely amazing!!!!!!
I recently stayed at the Red Roof Inn and had an exceptional experience, thanks to the wonderful team there. The manager was incredibly attentive and ensured that all guests felt welcomed and valued. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the front desk staff. They were quick to address any questions I had and made the check-in process smooth and efficient The housekeeping staff were equally outstanding. My room was spotless, and it was evident that they take great pride in their work. Throughout my stay, they maintained a high standard of cleanliness and were always courteous and respectful. Overall, the service provided by the manager, front desk, and housekeeping staff made my stay at the Red Roof Inn a memorable one. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant experience. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so enjoyable!
I want to say thank you to the Front desk for the help with my reservation I am committed an error in the young lady at the front desk helping me with it. She was nice and polite. also, the rooms were nice, cool and clean. It was a nice day at this hotel, I like to change and the way new management handle things I feel safe also for all the lighting that they have thank you guys and I will let other family member know how good my experience was Red Roof and Akron
If I could rate a zero I would as a travel nurse I depend on booking rooms online from place to place , after going on the website booking a room and having it billed to my credit card (yes they took my money) I got a phone call telling me they had canceled my reservation because they had no open rooms ...but couldn't explain why it let me book the room in the first place if none were open or how long it would take for the refund to my card , leaving me without a place to sleep and without the funds on my credit card .... never have I ever delt with such horrible service ! Would NOT recommend to anyone !
First room looked nice but smelled heavily of cat urine. Front desk was kind enough to move us to another room which at first glance looked clean especially when Shawna left an envelope for a tip. I thought maybe she didn’t do the best job vacuuming because I saw some dirt on the floor but it was quickly clear that there was no sweeping or vacuuming done at all. Food and dirt everywhere. Next was the long hair that was covering all the walls of the shower.. and the massive wad of phlegm and spit on the curtain and snot smeared on wall. My husband went to tell the front desk as we were leaving to get dinner and they asked if we wanted the room cleaned which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, when we returned though it looked much better there was feces smeared all over the inside of the bathroom door in multiple places. Also, feces on the front door and in between the nightstand and bed was a pile of cat poop. I would recommend bringing a blanket because there was only a sheet on the bed. The furniture and fixtures looked new and the room would be nice if it was clean. While checking in there is a waiver to sign that has multiple warnings about smoking on property or even smelling of pot smoke being a reason to evict you from the property. Ironically the room smelled of cigarettes when we returned from dinner, being paranoid that they would keep our deposit trying to blame us so I bought air fresheners and put them in the broken air conditioner (all buttons were broken off). House keeping was smoking a cigarette whilst doing laundry though. I hate pictures of all of this but not sure how to post them. I have tried contacting Red Roof In. corp but no response. The icing on the cake was we prepaid the room and they tried to charge us double what we already paid.**** NO BED BUGS*** that was the best part. I see that you have responded to my review but I am still waiting for anyone to contact my husband or myself in regards to corrective measures or reimbursement!?
