Great cruise/airport location. Fantastic, little food truck with lit picnic area outside. Very friendly front desk staff. Super comfy beds and pillows. Unfortunately, it was noisy, there were bugs, the bathroom wasn't clean and the floor constantly felt wet for some unknown reason. Also, we really didn't appreciate the HARD sell of transportation from the cruise to the airport on our way in to check out in the morning. He quoted $15/person (only valid until we walk out) and relentlessly "guaranteed" they were the cheapest fare, even telling us to prepare to pay "$100 to get out". We found transportation at the cruise port to FLL for $10/person. Not the best experience. ~AD

Tl;dr Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Front desk person I called was rude, condescending, and not constructive. She lost her temper at me and started yelling at me on the phone, repeatedly interrupting me, and using a nasty tone. I wasn’t going to write a review because I didn’t end up staying at the hotel, but after reading other reviews with the same complaints, I realized it was a serial problem and not a one time mishap. The situation was that I had booked through a third party without realizing it for a day bed, which apparently Red Carpet doesn’t provide. Instead of being constructive and being nice to me as a customer, I was berated and disrespected. It is never acceptable to yell at a customer nor to be outwardly rude. I was completely calm and did not instigate anything, yet from the beginning I was being treated poorly. Given I flew an overnight flight and was on 0 hours of sleep just trying to find a place to stay, it was ironic that I was the one trying to calm down the desk manager. I do not recommend this place because of its poor customer service. This matter needs to be looked into because I’m seeing dozens of reviews complaining about this same issue and clearly nothing has been done.

First night I was here the room was super clean. Second night, we had a different room, the TV was much smaller and the floor was dirty. Customer service was great from the gentleman (Mohammed) who assisted me. First room stunk of stale cigarette smoke but he switched the room and was very accommodating. The woman addressed me by name the morning I went to extend my stay a few more days. Room service services everyday during your stay! Not super walkable, has a Raceway fairly close by and is 5 miles from the airport.

Needed a night before a cruise, everywhere around was well over $200, most above 300. This was around 170, read the reviews and was a tad nervous. Am not upset about my choice. Staff was nice and funny. Room is clean, air works good. It’s not a high end Marriott but that’s not what I paid for. Think Motel 6 that’s been renovated and is clean. Nice room for a nights stay, or more if you need to. Only cons are that the bathroom is small, kinda hard to get dressed in, and no restaurants in walking distance. They can’t fix the restaurant issue and the bathroom works well enough. If you just need a decent place for the night, this does the job.

I was neither here on business nor vacation. The AC was out at the apartment I stay at with my kid and her bf and it affects my job. Since I have heat sensitivity, muscle weakness, heat headaches and feet swelling. I could go on, don't worry, I won't. A major drawback is that when I got back from walking my dogs, the keycard lock was dead. I had to walk back and forth to the office 3 times in the 3am humidity, I wasn't close to the front office. I had to switch my room for the night because I had to wait for maintenance in the morning to release the lock. I didn't take my am medication on time , but there were no ill effects. The biggest drawback was that I had to leave my dogs at the hot apt and go back and forth 3x a day. I got such a great deal through Priceline that bringing my two well-behaved, quiet, small dogs that are confined when I'm not there would have cost me more than my own stay per day. Another drawback is that the deposit is TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS, more than ANY other hotel I have stated in.  And that was without the dogs! I'm still waiting for my bank to credit it. Since I cleaned up after myself, there is no reason for them to keep it. I must say the convenience store in there is phenomenal and the gifts on the shelves are Christmas present worthy. If you are local, even if you don't stay there, stop in there at the gift shelves and the convenience store. You can fill 100 Christmas stockings! We won't talk about breakfast.
