The beautiful historic park at the top of the hill holds special memories for me. Discovered it on a past trip. I’ll spray come here to sit relax and enjoy. Statues, monuments and a museum. Stop for a picnic or to sit on Sunset Bench in the evening. Dogs allowed on leash. Bring a beach chair sit under a tree and enjoy the beauty of nature, very peaceful.

This park has the first permanent European settlement in CA & amazing views. True hidden gem

I didn't realize the Precidio was a museum, not a church. It's quite a lovely place. Look for the white deer monument.

It's a nice place.. but the homeless and drug users have taken over half the park unfortunately. I came across an open safe box with drug residue and lots of trash from homeless. Park rangers were talking to homeless blocking the trails as well.

Unfortunately we had high hopes for Presidio Park. A few building looked interesting, however a large majority of the park looked run down. On top of that the Google reviews mentioned some drug related issues. With that, we took a pass. 😕
