Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen
What people are saying
Went to drive through, ordered dine for two, ordered original with two legs and three thys, redbeans & rice, mash & gravy,.I repetted my order to the attendent 3 times. I got 3 wings, 1 leg and a piece I think was a mutated breast, a half cup of dryed cagian rice, mash & gravy. Order was stone cold. Called and asked to speak to Manager But he was to scare to answer phone,.I talked to who was suppose to be the assistant manager, and she said it was in possable to get that order incorect. She said to bring my ticket back to prove it was not right. Are you going to drive back to a business after you buy dinner and go home to eat it. And find that it is totally wrong and have to wait at least a hour or more to have dinner. She didn't even offer an appolagy.
When I arrived at the store, I was pulled forward to wait for my food. We sat there 30 minutes and nobody ever came. I went in and nobody had started my order at all. When I questioned the manager about it, she yelled at me and told me to leave the store. This is the most unprofessional experience I've ever had. I will never go to this store again. I'll make the trip to Huntsville. They know how to treat customers.
The food is great but inconsistent. So is the pricing. I appreciate that they are under staffed as many places are right now. But, Basic things that people expect when they come to corporate chain food places are, the same taste, the same sizes, consistent pricing. I was quoted $75 and change for an order of 58 chicken strips. A week later when I came to pick up my order, I paid $99 and change. When one person works, you get one price. When someone’s else is working, you get a different price. I highly suggest upper management come from out of town and figure out why there is so much inconsistency. I’ve only been here 3 times and 2 of those times I’ve had issues. Everyone is really nice and I appreciate that but, I’d also appreciate consistency.
The chicken is being over cooked. I am super glad that Fayetteville finally added a Popeyes, however I've eaten there twice now and both times the chicken was hard and over cooked with too much breading. I love Popeyes but the chicken isn't the same as I'm used to having. I hope someone will see this review and fix this problem. On the other hand, the staff was polite and they managed to be as speedy as possible even though they were so busy. I will be trying again, but I do really hope they stop over cooking. It's pretty expensive to come home and realize you can't chew your chicken . UPDATE: 2 months since previous review- Chicken is wonderful! The cooks have got it down pat and I LOVE this Popeyes! The chicken is cooked to perfection and the employees are ALWAYS so nice and friendly! It means a lot to be treated kindly, you never know what kind of day someone is having. I really appreciate the wonderful service!
Loved Popeyes, until Fayetteville got one. They started out great. Then over time, the chicken skin became hard as rocks, and well, everyone knows about the biscuits. And MOST of the time, they're out of chicken or sides. 😤🙄 (They're closing down, ALLEGEDLY)
