A great spot to park up enjoy the view, the view out to sea offers incredible sunset views or you can head down to the beach for some cliffside views. There is also the walking trail which leads off through the woods around the perimeter of the airport and is one of the best places in Anchorage to guarantee a moose siting if that’s something you’re after.

This place is so chill. Stop by before you head to the airport. Watch some planes come in. Touch the ocean.

The beach was farther down the bluff than I expected. It is a couple hundred feet walk down a moderate decline to get to the beach area. I'd love to know the story of the upside down car buried in the beach.

The park has a great view across the inlet from Anchorage. Easy access to the beach from the parking lot. Park closes around 10 or 11 pm. Anchorage Police department makes routine visits at night to make sure no one is in the park after hours. The sometimes will write ticket if they catch you there.
