I called Plaza West to inquire about transferring my prescription to their pharmacy but wanted to get a copay estimate first. The person who answered the phone was not friendly and was very short. She gave me the estimate and I asked how she was able to do so without my insurance info. She then proceeded to lecture me that the estimate she gave was the cash price, obviously. And that if I used insurance then it would be no cost (again in an obvious tone). I told her that's not necessarily the case and she said "How can I give you an estimate without insurance information?" to which I said "Yes, I'm aware, so I was going to give it to you." It was such a rude and unpleasant exchange that I said forget it. It was such a lack of customer service that I wonder if they're trying to actually deter new customers vs. getting new business.

Do not go this pharmacy they still your pain meds like norco they skim off the top never giving you your full number of pain pills they did this to me 3 times claiming I was wrong there a bunch of crooks

I love this pharmacy. For way too long, I was using CVS and Walgreens. I'm NEVER going back. From now on, it's only Plaza West Pharmacy. First off, they have immediate and friendly customer service on the phone. No more waiting and waiting for hours only to be hung up on like CVS. Plaza West's phone service is outstanding, which is really important in these COVID times. Second, the prices are the same or better than the big box shops. Also, there is almost never a line so you get quick service. The staff there is so diligent about your orders. They have all your insurance approvals worked out in advance, so you aren't waiting and waiting like CVS. They call you if there are any confirmations needed from the patient. The pharmacists are very knowledgeable and have all the bases covered. Also, they have a refill smartphone app so you can just tap your phone to send the refills. Super easy. Also, they go the extra mile. They gave me a complimentary calendar today, and they bought a few extra diabetic sensors to have in stock in case I had an emergency and needed an extra. They think of everything. If you are shopping at any other pharmacy, you are wasting your time, money, and energy. Plaza West is the best.
