We went in Memorial Day to look at a couple of 2023 Nissan Rogue Platinum. Both were in nice condition and low mileage. This review is mostly based in the customer service. I was approached by nice young guy who actually seemed pretty pleasant and knowledgeable about the vehicle. We test drove one, liked everything about it and definitely interested in purchasing that day. I was putting a significant deposit , and I just tried to negotiate the price down some but he was adamant there was no wiggle room. Understood, and I left. Next day, nice young man calls, leaves a message and I get back to him a little later. I explained to him that I like the vehicle, appreciated his knowledge, and was immediately ready to purchase, and inquired that perhaps they might just reduce the price by $1500 as I had located several other dealers offering similar vehicles in the price I offered. Everything seemed rather professional. At this point, his complete personality changed from the charming guy I originally met to defensive, argumentative and almost demeaning telling me that I can’t afford the vehicle. I understand if the dealership doesn’t want to reduce a price by $1500, and lose a sale for that amount, it’s their business, but not sure of the professionalism in their sales training techniques in acquiring customers. So, I went somewhere else and purchased a new 2024 Rogue Platinum the next day with some other dealer.
I have been going to this dealership for all of my maintenance services for quite some time and can say that the customer service has always been excellent especially from Tara who I have always dealt with to set appointments, get quotes, and answer any of my questions. Tara has been awesome and has always done whatever it took to help me out. Just want to say that the Nissan team is great and again thank you Tara for your awesome customer service, friendliness and knowledge.
