Peter melendy prk is one beautiful park in the midst of cedar falls downtown area . There are prettiest benches to sit and enjoy the view . The sun rises at its best here . Do not forget to take a long walk if you are here in the town , Cedar river flows across and the beautiful bridge will amaze you Hampton inn hotel has the best view which is right across the signal of this area . The park is well maintained with beautiful small ornamental plants and great walk ways created . This review is being added as per the visit during beginning of September, I have heard it gets too cold in the winter , so take your choices of visiting as you wish too. I like it! On the intersection of Main St. and 1st St. Nice area to view the Cedar River and Gateway Park accross the way. The city has let the vegetation go wild which allows for nice wild flowers ,bugs, butterflies and bees to go about life without to many humans ruining things. No graffiti yet and only a couple beer cans littered by some clowns. It’s a good use of space that the common denominator hasn’t left their mark on yet. Enjoy…but don’t share with your dumb friends………… 🌀🦉👁💀

Cute little park along the river! No where for kids to play but it's a lovely spot to sit and check out the river or downtown CF and people watch!

Park is kept nice and a good mix of activity with park visitors, walkers, cyclists, and pets.
