I have to say I was pretty scared about the whole process before I got there because it was the first time I rented a vehicle at this location and with this company! When I arrived in the afternoon, the only setback was that there was only one line for about four other rental places! Which I found odd but not too crazy. I honestly think that the whole process was very easy once I got to the counter I was there for less than five minutes and my car was easily able to be found! My deposit, I stated that I had third-party coverage and to be honest I was on my way! Once again this was my first time with them so I decided to come back about 2 1/2 hours early to return my car big mistake. The process was less than 15 minutes. Oh I will know for next time. I had a good experience. My refund came back that exact day. I will definitely look forward to renting again from this location when I go back to New York in my travels!

The lines were ridiculous. Over 30 people in line and only one sometimes two staff at the counter. Took 1h30min to get into the car. Horrible attitude from the staff. Payless you should do better.

Ripped me off. Customer service in person couldn't help so directed me to call the phone number. Then got told a different thing by everyone I spoke to. I was told to call CarTrawler which is their backend B2B service. They can't help me. So my money has been stolen. Will absolutely never use Budget or Payless again after being a customer for over 10 years, knowing their customer service can't help assist their paying customers.

This might be the worst car rental experience someone can have .. I reserved a grand cherokee “or similar” car from Newark airport through online ..the reservation included body damage protection.. after arriving at the airport . I found a long queue line to receive our cars .. took me over 1 hr to reach the gentleman who said that the protection wasn’t included and I have to pay for it one more time .. They gave me an equinox instead of the grand cherokee and said that at their system .. that’s what similar car is ( not true cus equinox is a small SUV similar to regular cherokee not grand cherokee) .. the car wasn’t clean from inside nor outside .. and after returning the car i was charged another 80$ for no reason .. I paid 350$ for 2 days car rental equinox !!! What a scam company is that

Terrible service! Staffs and owner were extremely rude. I’ve rented vehicles from over 100 locations in the last 12 years and I’ve never been to a location as terrible as this. This people are still holding onto my money without releasing the vehicle I booked to me. Terrible business owner with not credible infrastructure to handle inventory in real time. Shame !!!
