I visited on a Friday during lent and had the Fish Fry Beer battered Cod. It was ok at best. On a positive note the bar was very well run and the draft beer selection was varied and robust.

You won't be disappointed in the food, its really good. I just can't get over the beer prices.. 10 dollars for a beer is insane. 7-10 dollars for craft/local beer.. shooo. The food is worth checking out though. 💪🏼👹 Get the Half-Chicken if you want something fried and fantastic.

Fantastic little spot, but maaan is it expensive. $10 for craft beer.. that's pretty steep. That being said, Everything else was on point. They have plenty of entertainment almost daily. They have live entertainment, bingo, and different little things going on throughout the week.

Served RAW soggy fish fry! Inedible. Removed all soggy breading. Bartender never comes back to see how first few bits were. Showed her the disaster they call food. She took 2bucks off. I make a better fish fry in my home! I learned making fish fry while serving for Matty’s, they’d put me on the fryers on a Friday night. Our fish never looked like that lol. And as a server since I was 18yrs old, u ALWAYS go back to the table to check on your customers food. They were not busy it was like 1pm. I’ve worked Friday fish fry all through out college, I know busy employees vs last/poor employees. For a restaurant in business for 20yrs you’d think they would know how to make a fish fry. We stoped coming here in 2009 due to “issues” w paulie and his staff. Here were are 2023/24 trying again cuz people and businesses change right?! Nothings changed and it’s WORSE. Only edible thing is French fries and maybe if you’re lucky a pizza…that they might have prepared right. We will NEVER be coming back here. Sucks too cuz it’s prime location for a lot of summer/winter attractions at state fair. What a shame.

We had a great time last Sunday watching a live band outdoors. The servers are outstanding and the pizza was so so good!! Prices are reasonable. Parking is a bit of a challenge due to the shuttles, but that wouldn't deter us from going again!
