It was ok. I'm not a fan of watching a movie in any theater. Snacks are too expensive and volume is always too high. That said, the staff was friendly. It's nice that people have a theater in town that they can go to.
While visiting my Mom in Park Rapids, we decided to take the kids to the movie. We saw The Ginch and the kids really enjoyed it. This classic historic theater was really neat to visit. The friendly gentleman behind the counter stated that they had owned the theater since the mid 80s. The interior was the classic older building architecture which I really appreciated. So many places have been gutted and remodeled, losing that historic appearance. They had 3 separate theaters, two are smaller with smaller screens, then the 3rd is larger with a much larger screen. That is the theater used for 3D movies. In conclusion, we all had a great time and hope to attend another movie there sometime!
Saw inside out 2. Sound was way too loud. Was way better under the old owners. Will not be coming back.
We went to see The Marvels and had a blast! So cute after the previews one of the employees came in and announced the movie, an experience you don't get at the big name theaters. It was clean and comfortable we did move down from the back row as the chairs in the back row kinda push you forward but the next row down we were able to recline back and relax. Hands down great time!
Got the VIP room with my kids to watch the little mermaid. We all loved it. They did an amazing job getting the room all set up. And made you feel welcome and always checked on us if we needed anything or just to make sure everything was good. I would suggest getting the VIP room. Great when you Want family time. And just want alone time with your kiddos.
