Does not deliver correct items nor do they deliver when promised. I’m now forced to stay awake until after midnight to receive my order. I’m tired of hearing about their remodel which has resulted in meds and supplies coming from Richmond..

Yes option care didn’t send me the rest of my medication that was owed when they had to be contacted multiple times so the right dosage to be sent out. They argued stating that I had enough for this weekend until I received the rest on Tuesday and then send my regular dosage for my prescription. Susan also working there stated that it was as needed and I let her know that I have no stomach , gastroparesis and NO ! It’s not for me as needed. She was very nasty , common person whom only wants to do it her way instead of being concerned for the well being of the patient and could had just sent the rest the next day. They do whatever they want to do and that’s ok because I’m going to do what I feel like doing. I will be speaking to a higher person and the board. Also they have been running my health insurance into the ground because there sending way too much supplies with my TPN , syringes and then there are times that they didn’t send me what I needed.so no. I do not recommend anyone to work with them. I will be calling and switching with another company. Also my pharmacist Suzan has made things difficult and has no empathy or sincerity of patients are understanding with me when I tried to talk to her and explain to her about one time of the order that I received from promethazine was a bad batch because it did not work. Then she proceeds to tell me to send back what I didn’t use, and then she sent me what wasn’t used back but that there was never ever bought any bad batches well when you receive prescriptions, they can be bad when they’re sending you by the company itself and I have had that experience before but I tried to tell her about the promethazine she gets a high about it and she acts like I don’t deserve any of this and I didn’t ask for to have chronic illness but if someone was to put their selves in my place, they would feel the same way and they would understand if only these people are here go through the half of what we go through they would simply understand but she seems to have a problem about the prescription I receive it has been very difficult to work with her on this. They also messed up my delivery because it was supposed to be sent to my house on 3/7/2024 and was not delivered and now my TPN is contaminated because someone else has already opened the box and now it will be no good. There going to ship it to me like that. NO ! And they have personal carriers that deliver late at night, calling me to find my house. I have a care taker until five and I have no one else to help me with the boxes because I have a PICC line in and I can’t carry no more than five pounds with that arm. I would rather them pay to have FedEx to deliver again as they were but I guess that would be asking too much because they don’t want to pay that extra.

I wouldn't endorse this company. Despite being linked through the hospital for my two-month-old daughter's NG tube needs, the experience has been frustrating. They inundated me with unnecessary items, failed to deliver the crucial NG tube, and sent the wrong syringes, causing additional delays. It seems like they prioritized billing my insurance over providing efficient and necessary care.

Option Care just stopped sending our medications for almost months now. We have tried calling them, leaving them voice messages, and sending them online inquiries, but have yet to receive a callback. I managed to speak to one of their staff, who had no clue why they stopped sending the medication - it was three weeks ago. Finally, the patient was required to go to ICU and spent a week there, treated for an infection related to lack of this particular medication administration. Stay away from this terrible company!

What an ironic name for this company. I would encourage anyone to investigate other feeding/infusion companies before signing on with this team -- there are plenty in NOVA and surrounding areas. We were connected with Option Care at the hospital after my daughter received an NG tube. Like most parents and patients in the hospital, we didn't really have a choice or stop to question the company we'd been set up with. Although I was originally pleased with the team's promptness and knowledge about the feeding pump and accessories, we were let down a couple of weeks later when our pump broke. The Option Care team was swift to replace it, but it was still a scary experience as we could not feed our 3-month-old daughter for the 1-2 hours it took to replace her pump. You would hope a company that specializes in feeding equipment would have better quality control. Our negative experience with Option Care reached its peak a few weeks later, when we were sent 5 cans of powdered formula and charged over $100 for it as part of a standard "refill" that we had not asked for. Our prescription had recently changed (my daughter's diet changed from fortified formula breastmilk to straight breastmilk) and because the change in prescription happened a day after the order was placed, Option Care refused to reimburse us for the formula -- even though they did not alert us that they were delivering formula before the package arrived. Basically, they forced formula on us, without any "options" at all! Furthermore, when I called to dispute this issue with the team, they were unwilling to budge on the topic -- claiming that they are not a "DME" (durable medical equipment) provider and thus could have never sent us a refill without including food, per some medical/insurance/legal guidelines that I -- an average parent operating in the real world -- should have known about. The icing on the cake? Because my daughter no longer needs formula, Option Care informed me that they cannot legally work with us anymore and have to terminate us as clients. Overall, I have been let down by this company's products, customer service, and lack of transparency. I highly encourage others to investigate other companies who treat clients with more sympathy and respect.
