Tuesday nights Dinner with the squirrel is not to be passed over....excellent food at a great price!!! Sunday meat raffles....good times to be had by all. Very fun place to hang out and the "regulars" always have a good word to say.
Amazing food, at least it has been. I've heard it's been under new management and the service hasn't been the same since, but I'm not sure if it's affected the food. When "Earl" was the owner the best time to get food was the Tuesday night specials, generally either very delicious steak and sides, or something unique, always 4 course or more. Not sure if that's still going on though.
This place was hard to find but so worth the search. The employees were friendly. One even came outside to look for me. I was in town for a military exercise and desperately wanted food off the base. I ordered the chicken wings. They were freshly cooked and delicious! It was a simple meal but absolutely "finger-licking" good. This small village has a lot of restaurants in gas stations. Drive right past them and look for this small neighborhood bar. You won't be disappointed. It's a place with a warm atmosphere, good food, and wonderfully friendly people. I'm so glad I found it!
Nice bar and grill with plenty of seating and very large outdoor covered area and volleyball too. Great food. The BLT sandwich I ordered was awesome and filling so i only ate half of it. I went to outdoor area and asked bartender to save my BLT. Came back in and it was thrown out. Staff was very nice and attentive. Otherwise a good experience and excellent place with nice clean restrooms. Would recommend to others as well as will return as needed but I'll make sure to box my food right away next time.
Worse service ever. Been there quite often for Tuesday steak night. Love their food. Even usually order our usual 3 plus another couple to take home, if they make it that far. Walked in tonight, never acknowledged. Sat by the open window for over half an hour. It took her about 10 minutes to serve a volleyball player, and then another one and then a man and kid. She then proceeded to take care of almost everybody else's ticket at the bar and never even asked us if we needed a drink or if we were ordering or anything. Never seen this black haired bartender before but she sure shouldn't be there if she can't handle the crowd. Probably going to the rite spot in Sparta for steak night from now on.
