Free parking and old Town was fun to walk around for shopping. Not too many of the historic buildings open the day we went tho, and nothing for gluten free people to eat.... no one in town could guarantee a GF meal, even the mex restaurants... too busy I guess?

Old town is a must stop when you are in San Diego. Cute shops. It gives a great perspective on San Diegos' history from the 1800s.
Parking lot is a bit small there is extra parking on the dirt. Got the car all dusty though but it is all day parking and free. If ur gonna be here for a while this is a good spot if not there is two hour parking along the streets or $5 parking and $10parking in paid parking lots that arent to close.
Perfect spot, if you can get in.
