I was a bit leary about visiting an urban wildlife refuge and a bit curious at the same time. Even though the drive to get there was not enjoyable, the Refuge was okay. I had to separate myself from the world outside the refuge since urban settings are not in my wheelhouse. The diversity of wildlife was far greater than I expected. I saw more there than at most of the parks that I've been to in more favorable country settings. It is well maintained.
It was amazing, very relaxing, peaceful and beautiful. Good to meditate 🧘🏽♀️ , beautiful views, clean fresh air 🧚🏽♀️🌺💚🦋💫. Ppl that past by once in awhile are very friendly. Many spot to seat with bench etc...and it's free so 🤗💃🏽
Great place to take a break after walking or cycling. Great views of the impoundment. Lovely spot for birding. It's a double decker observation tower with benches on the lower level. Worth stopping here for a few minutes.
The scenario is amazing nice walk for you and the kids trails fishing and a place to take beautiful pictures
Nice view of the Heinz wetland and PHL ATC tower. Could be taller.
