Avoid. Company is hilariously sketchy. The building is down a back alley several miles away from the airport car rental center. Prepare to pay twice whatever price they advertised to you. Tons of hidden surcharges. Don’t rent an electric car from them. The closest charging station is miles away and so you’re forced to bring the car back with a less than 100% charge. They will then helpfully charge you $100 in “refueling” costs. Prepare to fight to get your $300 deposit back. When will I learn 🤦🏻‍♂️at least the electric mini cooper was fun to drive

A made the reservation thru a third party I pick the wild card option. When I went to pick up the car, they gave me the dirtiest and a gas guzzler they had. The counter person wanted to charge me 140 more to put me on a nicer car. Have picked this option before with Fox rent a car and they will always give me a 4cylinder car or upgrade me to a really nice clean car. Next time I’ll pay a little more and go with Fox rent a car.

Took a valley trip in February and rented a car here. I asked a staff if they were new? They replied they had 20 locations in the SW. When I returned the car I noticed all cars are plated in Utah. After making the long trek over to the rental car hub I appreciated that the pick up spot was near a bench to sit & rest. Took a shuttle over to their location on Van Buren. Despite doing the emailed questionaire it didn't seem to speed up the process any. They first gave us a car with several scratches, we declined it and they brought around another car, having to do most of the paperwork again. I appreciated that they had several couches in a spacious lounge area to wait for all of this. We were finally on our way in a Malibu. Despite being a rental car this car had a near heart attack inducing stop indicator! When it thought you were getting too close it would produce flashing red tail light looking lights on the bottom of the dash! When I arrived to return the car, there were two lanes, a gal was helping the driver in the other lane. She went away... never acknowledging us...we sat for 15 minutes.... when she returned she told us we could leave the car and she'd check it in. I waited inside for the shuttle to return. When it did I asked the driver a question. He replied "I don't speak English." That was a little frustrating...but I went back inside to wait. I boarded the shuttle w delightfully friendly and knowledgeable driver Garfield. He handled himself better than I would when a traveler just wanted to be... One Of Those!!! Garfield asked us if we were ready to go all buckled in? The man said he wan't. Garfield asked if he was ok with that? The man said he was and other unnecessary soap box comments.... pfffttt. Again: kudos to Garfield for being so professionally tactful. As we made our way to the airport Garfield pointed out a church "around longer than Arizona's been a state!" I very much appreciated the history lesson!! Thanks Garfield! Today I finally got around to reading my Nu emails and contacted them that I had a $186.87 charge and a reversal receipt email but the charge was never reversed on my visa! Krista stated that was just a deposit hat was never actually charged. I told her it was certainly charged and I need a credit. Krista then stated I was for bringing back the car empty. I asked $190 for a tank of gas?! Krista said it was S11.99 a gallon for bringing it back empty. I informed her that was "pre-arranged! The guy had told me you were charging $2.39 a gallon, the cheapest in the valley"! Without any hassle Krista immediately credited $131.44 and would leave $55.43 for the fuel. I appreciated the swift and hassle-free resolution. Next trip to the valley I would definitely rent from Nu again.

I gave one star because Zero is not an option. I should've done my homework. I saw a budget price for a premium car, and I took the bait. All that glitters isn't gold. Nice Charger, clean ...the only positive. Your NU car journey begins with a trek across the airport lot to get to the shuttle pickup. It was 113F that day. Wait 10 min and then another 10 min drive to the spot. I got a car relatively quickly, considering I went a few rounds with the guy who kept trying to give me insurance (have your valid ins card handy) and prepaid gas. Got the car, and they take several photos and a video of the car before you drive off. I enjoyed the car and returned with a relatively easy process (repeat video and photos). Here's the kicker...got my receipt, and basically, it was double the rental fee with all of the added charges. "Stadium surcharge, short-term vehicle rental fee (isn't that what I paid for?), airport fee (nowhere near the airport...not even the shuttle). Oh, I forgot to mention that all the cars have Utah plates. Can you say "Fly by night"? Bottom line: DO NOT GIVE THEM ONE DIME!!!

Rented with Priceline for a very low price. Once I arrived to the airport, I did not realize I had to shuttle to an offsite location (I also didn’t read the offer thoroughly). Once I got there, a lot of people were complaining about the long wait and told me to look at the Google reviews. I was definitely nervous about what I signed up for and I also saw the rental agents get commission based on people taking insurance and gas through the rental agency. I made sure not to accept anything outside of the rental and I provided my own insurance. They gave me an upgraded rental because I was one of the last for the day. I took lots of pictures of the interior and exterior of the car before leaving. Did the same on drop off. I did have to email the company to remove the $300 hold. Overall, it was worth the low cost even though I had to do a little extra work. Everyone was polite and helpful. Just make sure you do what you need to and you will be fine. FYI, I take the same steps with any car rental company.
