While fare is way more affordable compared to ride hailing, the schedule is not communicated well. Waited about 35 minutes for bus with no clear signage or real-time info to mitigate wait time. Time table when I purchased online said I could depart at 5pm and arrive to Bryant Park by 6pm. Bus didn’t arrive until 5:30 and we are just leaving the airport at 5:50pm. I’m not sure if I’m late for an earlier departure or on-time for a later departure. Real-time tracking and better signage/timetable would be helpful. It’s confusing how the schedule accounts for multiple stops at Terminals A, B and C.

Really awful experience with this company. We are tourists from Australia and have a son in a wheelchair. We booked tickets for the shuttle from Newark to NYC. The first two buses that arrived had broken wheelchair lifts and could not take us. Both drivers advised that the company had been informed about this on numerous occasions and have ignored maintenance. The third bus had seats that were stuck and could not be moved to accommodate the wheelchair. In the end because it was bitterly cold we had to lift him onto the bus which was a very undignified experience. This is appalling behaviour from a company and a breach of God knows how many anti discrimination laws. Never use this company or its parent company Coach USA.

Used Coach USA for a return trip from Newark to midtown. About 30 min wait for each trip but think it was fine, bus and driver where good and can’t beat the price. I’d use them again

I waited about 30 minutes for the bus. From 10-10:30. I wish the bus tracking feature on the website actually worked so I didn't have to wait in 40 degree weather longer than I needed to. It didn't work for me on chrome or safari on mac, nor safari on iPhone. The ride was smooth and the seats were squishy/comfortable. The driver didn't speak English very well, and was not super friendly, but I got to my stop, however he drove pretty well. I recommend waiting for the bus without paying for a ticket in advanced. Newark express takes payments (card or exact cash) once you board as well as scans pre-paid tickets. There are some bus services that charge the same price that stop at their bus stop. I would have gotten on one of those, but I had already paid for my ticket. I would take the bus again since it is so much cheaper than taking a taxi. It would be helpful if the driver could announce loudly/clearly what stop the bus is approaching instead of mumbling so much.

We took this bus at 11am from Grand Central Station to Newark Airport Terminal B. Contrary to all the bad reviews we had a very good experience. The bus stop at Grand Central Station is at 41 Street between Lexington and Park Avenue. We waited for the bus about 30 minutes. After reading the bad reviews we made sure to get there well ahead of time. A sign at the stop said the bus would run every 20 Minutes, which due to traffic is probably unrealistic. One passenger got into an argument about the waiting time with an attendant at the stop, and instead of reassuring her, he started mocking her, which was unprofessional. Other than that the staff was friendly. The ride to the airport took about an hour. I recommend not trying to catch the bus at the last minute as departure times seem to vary. But overall I have nothing to complain about and would use this service again.
