Modified the correspondence I sent to National today for this review: I had picked up the vehicle very late at night from the Seattle airport. I had reserved a toddler car seat which was to accommodate the requirement of 40+ pounds. The 1 I received was up to 40 pounds which was the only one that had. We had no other option but the take the seat. Today when we put the baby in, the bottom buckle can’t be closed because of the wrong specifications of the car seat provided. This causes a huge safety concern for my 2 year old. I had called in to customer service today and was astonished on how ill trained your folks are at the other end of the line. I insist that you hear the audio of the phone conversation with your rep and how it was immature and unprofessional. Either because they are not trained well or lack any empowerment. The rep went silent and refused to answer or reply in any way. I recorded a video of this and you can see there was no reply from her as she choose not to speak and tried putting me on hold where the music would come on for a second and then go right back to her. Now coming to the car seat, the seat should be aligned with the arrows and the straight line but it isn’t. As you can see see that a backward facing seat can never end up laying flat, it should always be at an angle. This is dangerous and puts my child’s well being in jeopardy along with interfering with our vacation. This carelessness and lack of knowledge from your staff can easily turn into a lawsuit.

Have always enjoyed the National Rental Car at Seattle Airport. I'm not the biggest fan of taking a bus to get a rental car, but this isn't too horrible. Also, they usually have a decent selection of vehicles available. It is located in a decent area next to the highway and easy to find when returning a vehicle. And it's very clean, tidy, and well lit.

Rented a small SUV for my trip to Seattle. It was a Mazda and completely foreign to me. I got into it and couldn’t connect my phone to charge it with the plugs I had with me. The representative down near the vehicles saw me struggling and came over to help and pointed to the jeeps, which I just purchased at home and have become familiar with, and put me in a Jeep Compass. An upgrade at no cost to make things easier for me being able to charge my phone. I was so comfortable being in a car I was familiar with and it made my entire trip more enjoyable. Thank you to that representative that helped me and made sure my needs for my trip were met. Excellent service at SeaTac.

Best rental experience. Top notch cars, choices and availability. Easy rental process (I'm an Emerald Club member). Smooth transaction from rental to return. Highly recommended. Rented in Seattle, one way to Boise, ID.

Had a fantastic experience with National. Usually use a different company but found a great rate through National and so happy I did. Check in was quick and easy. Front desk was pleasant and helpful and even got a better car then was expected. Was in and out. In minutes. Return was equally friendly, quick and easy. Will definitely make National the first option next time I rent.
