We recently rented a car from National Car Rental at Bush Airport in Houston. The National operation was very efficient, even just a couple days after Hurricane Beryl hit and much of the city was still without power. A bus quickly took us from the terminal to the car rental center. National had just the car we wanted and we were on our way in just a few minutes with no hassle. The return worked just as well in reverse. Quick and efficient out and back in a quality car. You can't go wrong with that.

Been renting with National for a number of years. This is the first time I had to use customer service. After a flat tire I had to switch out cars. They sent me to a place with no cars. Waited 10 hours and called them to ask what to do now. Their response was we have 24 hours to get back to you. I waited 24 hours, no call, I called them, they said they would get back to me but no idea how long. I'm driving all over Houston to work all this time on a temp spare. Three calls and three days later I got resolution. National is a good rental car company if you don't have to use their customer service. The only saving grace was Taylor and one other employee at the airport who were very responsive and made it right.

Great experience at IAH with National. All cars looked new. We got a Nissan pathfinder. Clean with a new car smell. Who won’t like it? We used the refueling option. Picking up was like, just walk to the car and pickup whichever you want from the lot and then while dropping it, just keep the keys in the car and get your luggage out and you are on your way. We will rent with National again.

I had another great experience with National Car Rental, this time at IAH. It is always very efficient for Emerald Club members. Having the member row to select a vehicle from is great. The staff is always very efficient and accommodating. Rental rates are very reasonable.

Our Rental car from Hobby had a bad smoke smell. We went to exchange it at IAH and Shay was so great. She found another car for us that didn’t have a smoke smell. We really appreciated her great attitude and eagerness to please us. We left very happy!
