Evan is the man. I saw him clear out a full line in minutes flat. Helpful, efficient, knowledgeable. His team of detailers seemed pretty cool too. Literally best car rental experience in my life. Thanks Evan.

Edit: From 2 to 4 stars. Customer service reached out to me and was able to refund the gas. Again, usually a great experience...just had a not so great one. Original: Usually a great experience, but this time was charged for 6 gallons of gas (@$6 / gal) when the small-town place I picked the car up from said just make sure it's higher than (3/8th tank) when I returned it to the big-city place. Returned at >5/8 tank... was charged $36. Didn't care enough to complain as it was a journey just to get it returned in time before closing and starting the second part of our vacation. National, you're normally awesome, just not this time from what I am guessing is a cheapskate franchise operator. Respond if you'd like more info.

I had a great experience recently with this National location. Very friendly and took the time to make me feel valued, even though I'm not a frequent National customer. Good team they've got there right now.

Honestly I would give it a zero stars. We rented a car at 7:20pm because our flight got cancelled. Our pickup was at 8:30 pm. Their website says they’re open 5-10:30pm in the evening. However when I got to the airport, NO ONE WAS THERE to give us the car we rented. That airport was so dead because there were no workers around as we walked around the whole building. We noticed that there was another Car rental company Hertz there but they closed at 5:30. I called the number that was given on the itinerary and she gave me this specific address and number that is posted right here. The address is the same as the airport address, but it says it’s behind the Hilton hotel on maps. So when we went to the Hilton Hotel to ask for the location, they told us that it is in the airport. I have called the number given so many times, but no representative picked up. Another group of customers wanted to pick up their rental car too, and went crazy as us calling numbers and walking around the building to find a worker. We wasted $80 for nothing! I also found on yelp that says “this location has been closed.” So I don’t know exactly know what is wrong with this part of the company, but it was an awful experience knowing false advertisement! Do not rent a car from here! We want our money back as well, but no representatives know how to do their job and pick up a phone call.

The gentleman who was working the counter when we got our car was really a pleasure to talk to, a very personable guy. I wish I could recall his name. Getting the car was nice and quick, the car was clean and ran well. Price was one of the best I could find in the area.
