Absolutely in love with Nantucket Bookworks! Cutest kid section I have seen in a book store. They have a great selection of chocolates, souvenirs and goods made by local artists.
This has to be one of my top ten favorite bookstores, here is why: 1. The location is where the action is downtown. It’s easily accessible and in a beautiful location surrounded by shops and restaurants. So, get a book and get some coffee down the block. 2. The atmosphere and decor/design is thoughtful and enjoyable to spend time in. The space is clean and well put together. It’s one of those spaces that draws you in and makes you want to stay. 3. Great selection of products! Books and other items including a large chocolate selection located in the back of the store. 4. One of the most amazing kid sections I’ve seen in a bookstore. The space was designed for and is inviting for children. Huge win for parents coming to visit that want to look for a book for everyone. 5. Friendly staff! This little bookshop is packed with treasures and brimming with charm! Who can resist a small doorway? Or a giant gumball machine, or stuffed radishes from Jellycat? You will also find lots of great children’s books about Nantucket, great for souvenirs. And it’s pup-friendly! Banjo got a warm welcome and a treat during our visit!
