Very cute. Never been here before. Took wife here for a trip. Nice old train feeling. Loved the nostalgia. Plus there's a cat that lives there in the office! Love the idea can check in and not have to wait in some TSA area
This is probably more of an Amtrak issue than a Mt. Pleasant issue. We are not from here or anywhere nearby. Our family is about an hour and a half away from the station. We arrived at the station only to find it locked. It has hours clearly posted but no one was there to open up. It's winter time!! And to make matters worse our train has been cancelled twice over the last couple days and delayed four separate times today alone. But the train station should be OPEN for paying customers regardless to if it's a manned station or not. I am grateful for the diner across from the station. They have kindly allowed me to sit inside out of the elements and I truly truly appreciate their kindness. I will not arrive or depart from this station in the future. I will definitely be sending Amtrak a huge piece of my mind. Customer service has declined to an all time low,And can't blame it on the weather.

Nice small station
I was there back in September of 2017. I don't remember the gentleman working there that day but I hope you somehow see this. It was me and my daughter I was waiting for the train to come back to Colorado. I had been there for hours due to my situation. You came up to me and helped me in a way that I have never forgotten about. You explained to me that I couldn't take all the stuff that I had to my name like that on the train. You help find me a couple of boxes to pack the stuff I really couldn't get rid of. I was seriously on my rock bottom and your kindness that you showed me that day has forever stayed with me. On top of that you locked my bags so I could take my daughter to subway to get something to eat. If anyone knows who this man was please let him find me. I just want to let him know I made it home safely. Just from the bottom of my heart thank you. Samantha Jackson...
