Also got drinks and some pie. Couldn't get a picture of my husband's food because he started digging in. I'm happy that we've found this place. The foods good. I've no complaints with what we've ordered and I'm more than happy to support a small black business. The women in there were so nice (reminded me of home) thank you ladies.

The best! This place is a hidden gem in a shopping center. Before you even walk through the door the sweet cashier is already greeting you with friendly words and a beautiful smile. Don't expect to walk in and walk right out, perfection takes time. This place is spotless. Super clean and wide open kitchen. I Ordered Mr. Richards special, four pieces of fried chicken, greens, Mac & cheese, and yams. So much great food. The fried chicken was lightly breaded not allowing the breading take over the taste of the chicken. The Mac and cheese is no Kraft it's fresh made deliciousness! The greens aren't spicy just fresh. Had the pleasure of meeting Ms. E-Vee, a beautiful woman who is passionate about giving quality food and a great price served by great people. Make the trip here, you will not regret it. You will only crave it until the next time.

I been eating from M. E Vee's Soul Food for many decades. This location here has the best Sunday Soul Food . When leaving church U can stop here and take a whole old fashioned yam's , collard greens, Turkey and dressing dinner and sweet potato pie for dessert right own home and enjoy as if U or your love one have been in the kitchen the night before preparing for after church meal. And her price is not to great for what I almost sure that U will be glad u stopped in to enjoy.

Five stars! Great food and great service! I got the Ms E Vee's special yesterday it was Soo good and I was sooooo full couldn't finish it in one sitting. It was like Thanksgiving lol Definitely going back
