Menards is a regional answer to Lowes and Home Depot. Products and pricing is generally comparable.

I had to pick up some industrial heavy racking. They had almost all the parts and what they didnt have I was able to easily get help and have them order it. The gentleman helped me load and unload 3 large rack carts full of supplies into my pickup as well. I had very good service this morning.

Nice store, excellent selection, usually not too hard to find help and they are friendly and knowledgeable. I would re-arrange the store more like it was a couple of years ago, but that's just my opinion and not necessarily good marketing. Checkout is fast and easy...none of that do-it-yourself stuff! Hint: put the rebate coupons at each checkout and save us all a few steps or forgetting to pick one up.

It's the busiest time of year and the garden center is closed at five go figure. Employees are too lazy to be bothered to keep the busiest area of the store open during the busiest time of year for garden and yard work. Locked myself and a bunch of other shoppers in the garden section and forced us to walk all the way through the store to check out or leave. Runnings may cost more but at least they care about their customers.

Large store with a bit of everything. Store was clean and well stocked. Their were a good number of checkout lanes open and our cashier was very friendly.
